5th Graders Attend JA Biztown

Pleasant Hill Elementary 5th graders recently attended the Junior Achievement of Central Iowa’s annual day-long JA Biztown program. Students prepared in advance for the experience, which involved working as a business team with the goal of developing a successful business operation. Students took on different roles and responsibilities in a business as they learned valuable skills that focused on work-readiness, financial literacy and entrepreneurship.
