Pleasant Hill Library Presents Summer Reading Program

Children can register now for the Pleasant Hill Public Library’s summer reading program.
Those who sign up can earn rewards for meeting reading goals and when reading logs are completed they will be entered in an end-of-summer prize drawing.
Sign up at the library, 5151 Maple Drive in Pleasant Hill.
The library will also host Tuesdays in the Park this summer. There will be activities for children at 10 a.m. in Doanes Park, 5050 Doanes Park Road in Pleasant Hill.
The lineup includes:
• June 17: Debbie Doowop and Dynamite Dan
• June 24: Pleasant Hill on Wheels (at the library)
• July 1: “Fizz, Boom, Read” by Science Center of Iowa
• July 8: “Pol-Kaboom” by Pint Sized Polkas
• July 15: Comedy juggling by Jason Huneke
• July 22: “Fizz, Boom, Read” by Zinghoppers Group
• July 29: Magic by Rick Eugene.
